3.When you where a child, did you hear people talking about nuclear weapons? yes but didn't bother to listen.

4.Did you understand who the enemy was? no.


5.How was the enemy typically portrayed in your society? we felt threatend

6.Did your school have air-raid drills during this era?  no.

7.What were some of the procedures? listen to your teacher.

8.When you were younger, did you ever hear about or see a bomb shelter? yes.

9.What supplies did people put in bomb shelters and why?  water and caned food, so we could survive.

10.What feelings did you have about these bomb shelters? looked uncomfortable.

11. Were you ever afraid of nuclear weapons? of course.

12. Describe someone you admired during this time period? my mother.

13.What do you remember watching on television or hearing on the radio? all the bombing that had been going on.
